        our story

In our “Veggie4School” programme, children engage in hands-on learning through interactive gardening, fostering personal growth and cultivating an understanding of agriculture and nature. They become environmental stewards, creating a sustainable future through their school gardens.

Mrs. Shinde shared her insights: “We joined the Veggie4School program because we believe in fostering environmental stewardship among our students. This initiative not only teaches them about sustainable practices but also empowers them to make a positive impact on the world around them.”

Government Kannada Model Primary School of Lingarajapuram

Headmistress Sumathi supervises over 100 students as they cultivate their V4S garden, turning their sustainable future aspirations into reality. Mrs. Sumathi conveyed her perspective: “As educators, we need to instil the importance of nutrition and healthy eating habits in our students. The Veggie4School program provides a hands-on approach to learning about food production, ensuring that our children understand the value of fresh, locally grown produce.”

Government Kannada Model Primary School KG Halli ‘s

Headmistress Shobha Rani leads 83 young gardeners as they actively cultivate their newly established V4S gardens. Mrs. Shobha provided insights into her motivation: “We were attracted to the Veggie4School program because it offers practical learning experiences that align with our curriculum goals. By teaching children how to plant and care for crops, we are equipping them with valuable skills they can utilise inside and outside the classroom.”

Government Model Primary School Cox Town

Headmistress Shantha Mary takes pride in the dedication of 50 students who are deeply involved in nurturing their V4S gardens. Mrs. Shantha detailed the commitment: “Joining the Veggie4School program was easy for us because it concretely promotes sustainability. Headmaster Mr. Venkatarayappa, with a clear vision for sustainability, guides 14 students in developing their kitchen gardens, nurturing a green thumb in each. Government Higher Primary School Sanjeevini Nagar’s

Headmaster Mr. Muniraju diligently oversees the V4S garden, involving 28 students in this green revolution.
